Health Sector Public Expenditure Review, 2009/10

Abstract

The year 2009/10 marks the 10th anniversary since the signing of the Abuja Declaration in which African heads of State and Government agreed to allocate 15% of their budgets to health. In line with improving the health status of the population, the Government also committed to achieving the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) health indicators by 2015.
