Promotion of vocational education and training

Abstract

In their report the consultants assess the Regional Vocational Training and Service Centre (RVTSC) Cang’ombe and try to assist in defining its new role and responsibilities. The long-term objective is to strengthen the training and service capacity of the RVTSC and to turn it into a labour market oriented and financially viable institution for the Dar es Salaam region. They believe that the RVTSC should play a role model or act as pilot centre in the national overall VET context.
