The long-run impacts of health shocks in Africa

Abstract

The goal of this project is to produce detailed household survey panel data which can be used to analyze how households in Tanzania are affected by health and other shocks in the long-run. This project seeks to enable evidence-based policy-making in this region, with a focus on prime-age adult morality (due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and other causes) and long-run socio-economic outcomes.
