Management of the child with a serious infection or severe malnutrition

Abstract

This Guidelines manual aims to provide both training and treatment principles that are supposed to be employed or used by doctors, senior nurses and other senior health workers who are responsible for the care of young children at the first referral level in the developing countries. The guidelines also point out the need for every hospital to undergo necessary improvement to carry out certain essential investigations as well as to support the integrated management of childhood illness in any specific circumstances to control the major causes of childhood mortality
