National norms, guidelines and standards on cross cutting issues for health care practice in Tanzania

Abstract

Tanzania is implementing Health Sector Reform (HSR). The process is influenced by a number of factors both internal and external. Some of these include: scarcity in health resources, advances in technology, emergence of new diseases, liberalization of provision of health service delivery and the need for advancing the national poverty reduction strategy. This guide is intended to be a reference document for norms, guidelines and standards for health care practice in Tanzania.
