Standard guidelines for health laboratory facility, national health laboratory services

Abstract

These guidelines have been formulated as a step towards the fulfillment of the National Health Policy under the current health sector reform, in order to facilitate the organization coordination and management of the laboratory services at different levels. It broadly aim to maintain good quality, effective and efficient health laboratory services in the country as well as to provide guide on equipping and setting range of essential test at each level of laboratory services e.g. supplies, drugs and vaccines.
