Availability of human resources for health in Tanzania

Abstract

This report point out that the health sector workforce has been growing since 1995 inspite of the fact that the Public sector employment freeze, the major professional categories for instance cadres with intensive training are growing fast,the private non-for-profit and private -for-profit sectors are expanding while the public sector is shrinking and the skill mix varies significantly between geographical regions
