Diagnosis and treatment of malaria

Abstract

This handbook aims to provide all prescribers both in public and private practice with the set of treatment and prophylaxis instructions, in which the clinicians are expected to use this handbook as their quick reference guide for prompt diagnosis, effective treatment and referral of patients afflicted with malaria, so as to minimise incorrect and indiscriminate prescribing of the anti-malaria drugs and led to much reduced morbidity and mortality from Malaria at all levels of health care delivery including the community.
