Population issues in refugee settlements of Western Tanzania

Abstract

This paper discusses population issues of refute settlements in Tanzania, including the rights and duties of refugees, the problems of integration at various levels, and the plights commonly experienced during refugee’s crises. The paper also looks at the effects of rapid population growth on the settlement s resources base, the environment, and the community as a whole. Finally, it draws recommendations on how the rapid growth rate can be decelerated.
