Needs assessment of AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Rungwe District,Tanzania

Abstract

Tanzania has more than 800,000 AIDS orphans. This report explains how the Step Forward Program helped to assess the specific needs and resources related to AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in the Mbeya region of Tanzania in order to develop a good understanding of the orphan care issues that were important to the community and the obstacles to education and health care for the OVCs
