Managing Tanzania's Economy in Transition to Sustained Development

Abstract

The paper was first written for the ERB – Economics Department policy workshop in 1997. It was subsequently revised into this form. The paper aimed at identifying and presenting the opinion of the authors on the major issues and concerns in the management of the Tanzania’s economy in the transition to sustained development. The paper used secondary information and qualitative data from various research studies, Government institutions and NGO’s.
