Potential effects of neem against fleas and tsetse flies of veterinary importance in Morogoro, Tanzania

Abstract

The potential of Azadirachta indica (Neem) in the control of ectoparasites of verterinary importance was investigated. Neem seed kernels were obtained from ripe fruits, sun-dried and ground into fine powder. Water extracts of the kernels (NSKE) were prepared by soaking known weights of the powder in known volumes of tap water for 24h.
