MKUKUTA Annual Implementation Report - MAIR 2007/08 is the second since the Government of Tanzania started implementing MKUKUTA in 2005/06. MKUKUTA focuses on three main clusters, namely Growth and Reduction of Income Poverty, Quality of Life and Social Wellbeing, and Good Governance and Accountability. MAIR 2007/08 provides progress on all the three clusters in terms of performance, challenges, lessons learned and way forward, as well as on financing, monitoring and evaluation. The primary objective ofMAIR 2007/08 is to track progress and stimulate dialogue with a view to chart at future plans for action. MAIR 2007/08 production process was coordinated by the Poverty Eradication and Empowerment Division, in theMinistry of Finance and EconomicAffairs. GovernmentMinistries, Departments,Agencies (MDAs) and NSAs umbrella organization provided crucial information on performance of various sectors for the year under review. Such information formed the basis of analysis of this report.
